Zoomark 2027 sharpens global strategy ahead of Bologna return

Zoomark is using the one-year mark before its next edition to sharpen its pitch as a global business and innovation hub for the pet sector. The Bologna, Italy-based trade show said Zoomark 2027 will run May 11-13, 2027, at BolognaFiere under a new brand line, “Connecting minds, shaping futures,” with returning special areas including Factory, Pawfect, Next, Atelier, Aqua Project, and Pet Vision, plus a seventh themed area still to be unveiled. Organizers are also broadening the event’s international footprint through partnerships and new initiatives, including PetBridge Powered by Zoomark, a B2B event scheduled for November 25-26, 2026, in Mumbai. Why it matters: For veterinary professionals, Zoomark’s positioning matters less as a consumer-facing event and more as a signal of where the global pet care pipeline is heading. The show’s emphasis on supply chain, wellness, retail insight, start-ups, and trend forecasting reflects the same forces shaping clinic conversations: preventive care, premiumization pressure, product innovation, and a more globally connected pet market. Zoomark’s 2025 edition drew nearly 31,000 visitors, 1,268 exhibitors from 56 countries, and buyers from 120 nations, underscoring its growing influence as a place where product, distribution, and market trends surface early. What to watch: Watch for details on the new seventh special area, how retail and wellness themes are translated into programming, and whether PetBridge in India becomes a meaningful feeder event ahead of Bologna in May 2027. (petworldwide.net)
