CityVet opens Casselberry clinic under Dr. Kaitlyn Guerrido

CityVet has opened a new clinic in Casselberry, Florida, with Dr. Kaitlyn Guerrido leading and owning the practice. CityVet Casselberry opened May 26 at 202 State Road 436 and offers preventive and wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care. The opening adds another veterinarian-led site to CityVet’s growing Florida footprint, and the company says Guerrido brings more than 15 years of veterinary experience, including a background that spans kennel work, client service, technician roles, and six years in small animal reproduction medicine. Why it matters: For veterinary professionals, the Casselberry launch is another example of a de novo, veterinarian-owned clinic model expanding in a fast-growth market. CityVet says every location is led and owned by veterinarians rather than a corporate parent, while still receiving centralized support. In Central Florida, the company already has an Orlando presence and additional “coming soon” sites listed in Clermont, Davenport, and Haines City, suggesting continued competition for associates, technicians, and pet parent share in the region. What to watch: Watch whether CityVet’s broader Orlando-area buildout accelerates referrals, hiring competition, and demand for urgent care capacity across Seminole and surrounding counties. (cityvet.com)
