Vet Inflow brand has been absorbed into VetsDigital
Vet Inflow, a veterinary-focused digital marketing company that promoted Facebook management and broader online marketing support for practices in the UK and Europe, is no longer operating as a standalone brand. Its website now states that it is “fully part of VetsDigital,” and VetsDigital said in an August 9, 2021, announcement that it had merged with Vet Inflow and VetBoost under the VetsDigital brand. The combined business said the move would expand its reach across the UK and Europe, with Vet Inflow founder Marcelo Alves taking a managing partner role focused on Portugal and Spain. Why it matters: For veterinary professionals, this looks less like a new practice-facing product launch and more like a case of outdated or potentially misleading framing in trade coverage. Practices evaluating outside help for Facebook, email, or multi-channel marketing should know that Vet Inflow’s legacy services appear to have been absorbed into a broader agency structure. That matters because UK practices also face tighter expectations around compliant advertising and social media use, including RCVS guidance on professionalism online and VetsDigital’s own recent warning that the Veterinary Medicines Directorate is taking a more proactive stance on non-compliant website and social media content. What to watch: Watch for whether old Vet Inflow references continue circulating in trade content, and whether practices shift toward asking more detailed compliance questions before outsourcing social media or medicines-related marketing. (vetinflow.co.uk)
